About Emily Schimnich

Let's get to know each other

Emily has always loved horses and has had her own horses for over 15 years. She originally went to school and became certified in human massage therapy through Ridgewater College, and then took a different path and pursued degrees in Dental Hygiene (AAS at SCTCC and BS at MSU Mankato). Emily enjoys many disciplines and aspects of the equine world but has a personal love for dressage, and also trail riding in the beautiful autumn leaves in Minnesota. She has her USDF bronze medal and would love to work towards her silver medal in the future as well.

Emily wanted to combine her passion for health and wellness with her love for horses, and that was how EquiBalance was born! Emily is currently certified as an Equine Myo-Manipulative Functional Therapist (massage therapist) through Holistic Animals Studies. She plans to be adding Equine CranioSacral Therapy and Equine Kinesiology Taping to her certifications in the near future.

but the victory belongs to the Lord."
